AUSTIN, Texas - Bypassing the Legislature altogether, Republican Gov. Rick Perry issued an order Friday making Texas the first state to require that schoolgirls get vaccinated against the sexually transmitted virus that causes cervical cancer.
By employing an executive order, Perry sidestepped opposition in the Legislature from conservatives and parents’ rights groups who fear such a requirement would condone premarital sex and interfere with the way Texans raise their children.
Beginning in September 2008, girls entering the sixth grade — meaning, generally, girls ages 11 and 12 — will have to receive Gardasil, Merck & Co.’s new vaccine against strains of the human papillomavirus, or HPV.
Perry also directed state health authorities to make the vaccine available free to girls 9 to 18 who are uninsured or whose insurance does not cover vaccines. In addition, he ordered that Medicaid offer Gardasil to women ages 19 to 21. See: Texas orders STD vaccine for all girls

This is crazy, they won't even acknowledge that most sexually active people have HPV and that in most cases it doesn't effect people. Also it can be treated herbally, but no they want to legislate vaccinations.
They don't even acknowledege that most people who are sexually active have HPV,in most people it does not cause problems and that it can be treated herbally. so now they want to (legislatively) force 11 year old girls to get a vaccine in which we don't even know the long term effects. this is "so called" freedom....

This is a serious issue once again American scientists need gyne pigs,for a 9 year old girl to be taking part in sexual intercause says alot about the family state,the tv programmes they watch and the food they eat.
the devil has always hated Eve this is one of his games and people need to be aware people need to know how to identify the devil befor he strikes,he hates everything that Yah loves.wake up people see things the way they really are.
With this std vaccine what is the message that its sending to these little girls NOW THAT IM VACCINED I CAN SLEEP AROUND!!there is no problem right now they just want to create one they are speaking life to what is not there so they can seem like life savers
